St. Louis Based Stickhead Lacrosse Brand Changed to The Stickstop

The local lacrosse and field hockey store has changed its identity....THE STICKSTOP, located at 721 Old Frontenac Square has expanded its store, its services and finally its name. The only retail store in Missouri that completely services the lacrosse and field hockey communities has been in business since 2004.
"After going live with our e-commerce site in 2009 we quickly realized that our old name, Stickhead Lacrosse, was interfering with our growth." said Carolyn Freeman, partner. "We did not own that domain name and therefore we were confusing our customers daily. Our previous mark did not include field hockey in its name, which wasn't representative of our services. "Amanda and I felt like it was time to create our own identity and honor our field hockey and lacrosse players equally. "The new logo, which features both a field hockey and lacrosse stick in its design, better represents our business.'' said Freeman.
"This is a great time of the year for us to roll out our new identity and website as the holidays are right around the corner as well as our busiest time of the year, the lacrosse pre-season, beginning in February 2011." said Freeman.
New name, same game! Stop in and see the latest 2011 lacrosse gear and take advantage of our field hockey season-end sale going on now at The STICKSTOP. Come visit Amanda, Carolyn, Dave, Jay and Ray!
